As we have finished the inauguration of the President it is perhaps appropriate to turn attention to the unbuilt architecture at the Capitol. \u00a0Stephen Ayers, the Architect of the Capitol, has written an interesting and informative <a href=\"http:\/\/www.architectmagazine.com\/history\/unbuilt-washington.aspx?utm_source=newsletter&amp;utm_content=jump&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=ANW_012113&amp;day=2013-01-21\" target=\"_blank\">article<\/a> describing the exhibit &#8220;Unbuilt Washington&#8221; now at the National Building Museum. \u00a0Just as fascinating as the projects themselves are the reasons they were not built. \u00a0Let me know if you have any favorites.<\/p>\n<p>p.s.
