Cannon Beach Bandstand
A
collaborative effort to provide a bandstand for the summer concerts in the
City Park. The principal design was done by Jay Raskin with design consultation
by Jimmy Onstott. Mike Riley provided the landscape concept which has the
bandstand set into a berm of grass with basalt boulders set into the concrete
base.The City of Cannon Beach provided a budget for
art. Sam Steidel cut shingle designs on the exterior and Frank Boyden cast
a bronze bird that alights on the peak of the roof.
